John Carney II would climb his way through the field from ninth for his tenth overall win of the 2016 season with ASCS Southwest at Western Tech Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas.
Wes Wofford would follow in second with Colton Hardy finishing third.
The first six laps would have Bob Ream, Jr. leading the pack before traffic allowed Colton Hardy to advance to the top-spot. As Colton lead the way into the closing laps, John would move past the #74 on the 18th lap to lead the last seven laps to take the win.
Heats were won by Wes Wofford, James Mosher and Rick Ziehl.

Lorne Wofford held off the hard charging John Carney II in the closing laps for his first Carlyle Tools ASCS Southwest Region victory of the 2016 season at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M.
Leading the opening two laps, Wofford would give up the top-spot to current ASCS Southwest Regional point’s leader, Rick Ziehl. Following the #20z until lap 13, Wofford would regain the top spot with John Carney II not far behind, after starting seventh.
Catching Lorne on lap 18, as Carney dove to the bottom of the first turn he would slide in front Lorne, keeping the slide job as tight as possible, Wofford had other things in mind as the wily veteran set up the bump and run; moving his MTS #18 back to the top spot where he would remain for the remainder of the night’s 25 lap affair.
John would finish second as Colton Hardy would take another third of the weekend.
Heat winners were Lorne, Rick and Colton.

In Victory Lane for the second time in 2016, Skylar Gee was in familiar territory as the #99 came from third to the win on Friday night at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont. with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region.
Leading all by the opening lap, which was led by Trever Kirkland, Skylar kept Kirkland to a runner-up finish with Kelly Miller slipping from the pole to the final podium step.

The season’s first trip to the Billings Motorsports Park resulted in Skylar Gee’s first weekend sweep in ASCS competition, as he grabbed the win with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region.
D.J. Brink would follow in second and David Hoiness would take third.
Heat winners were D.J. Brink and Trever Kirkland.
